Big Kart Track is open 7 days a week, every day of the year except Christmas Day. We have night racing and wet weather racing too.

Getting Here
Big Kart Track is located at 2310 Steve Irwin Way at Landsborough on the Sunshine Coast, just off the Bruce Highway. Plenty of local signage makes us easy to find.
Our central hinterland location makes Big Kart Track an easy day out from Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Toowoomba and the Sunshine Coast beaches. Nearby you’ll find tourist landmarks such as Australia Zoo, Aussie World and Sea Life Mooloolaba, making Big Kart Track a great part of any Sunshine Coast trip.
Parking is no problem at Big Kart Track – there’s plenty of room for everyone including minibuses and coaches.
Wet Weather Racing
So the track’s a bit wet today? No problem – this is when the fun really starts!
Just like pro racing, different conditions make for a different track and Big Kart Track is open in almost all weather conditions for kart racing action.
Night Racing
Prefer racing after sunset? Want to escape the heat? Or planning an after-hours function for work? Kart racing under lights is a blast and Big Kart Track is open to everyone until 10pm on Friday and Saturday nights, including Queensland Christmas Holidays.
Ask us about a package for an exclusive after-hours party. We’ll organise everyone for the race heats and at the end of the night present your team with personalised trophies. Bring on the night!

Pit Stop Café & Kiosk

Enclosed footwear are required to race on the track. Shoes can be hired at the track for $4.
The karts can reach up to 70 km/hour.
To drive on the Big Kart Track, drivers must be 152cm tall and a minimum of 12 years of age. Persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by at least one person over the age of 18.
The limit is between approximately 110 -120 kgs depending on when the kart becomes too small or uncomfortable for the customer.
Only if you book online. If you book online, confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking. Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher or bring on your phone and present on day of the tour. Complete Tour Operator Information including contact details are included on your tour voucher.
Includes 15, 30 or 60 minutes of hair-raising fun in a racing kart. Helmet included.
No you don’t have to buy your tickets online as we also sell tickets at track. However, if you’re keen to get racing asap upon arrival, online ticket purchasing will speed up the process.
The Big Kart Track is 1.2km in length and can have up to 50 karts racing on the track at one time.
